Moments of visual silence

“As the pace of life and the noise around us grow rapidly, I increasingly feel the need to pause and reflect while contemplating works of art. I see photography as liberating moments of visual silence”

— Ilia Kraev
Artist & Gallery Owner

Our collection, which has been built up over the past seven years and now comprises more than 150 works of art, offers a wide range of subjects, from abstract and architectural photography to landscapes, plants, and fashion. Whether it’s a single piece of art, a diptych, a triptych, or an entire gallery on the wall, we’ll discuss preliminary interior design concepts with you, select color schemes, and create visualizations.

Biography

Ilia Kraev is a Fine-Art Photographer based in Spain and the founder of an independent art gallery. He trained as an engineer and worked in technology companies for over 10 years. However, over time, he discovered a passion for artistic photography. Thanks to his wide range of interests, from analytical psychology and antiquity to cinema, music, and painting, Ilia works across various genres of photography, exploring the intersection of architecture, abstraction, and natural forms, often focusing on rhythm, structure, and atmosphere. Ilia spends his free time reading, going for walks, visiting museums, and collecting art books.

Approach

Once all the necessary technical and organizational issues have been resolved, Ilia adopts an intuitive approach to his work, relying on his instincts. By freely following his intuition, Ilia discovers surprising, unplanned solutions that allow him to create works of art that reach the level of metaphor and symbolism. The final selection of works of art is refined by the test of time. Thus, works created between 2020 and 2024 are published 2–5 years later. This allows Ilia, as the artist, to determine exactly which works of art still hold his initial interest. In this way, photographs that have proven their worth are given a chance at a new life as works of art.
